A superb, Deactivated, Old Spec WW2 Lee Enfield No.4 Rifle in Excellent Condition, made by the American company Savage-Stevens in 1944 under the Lend lease programme and issued to Allied troops during WW2.
Savage-Stevens only made No.4 rifles between late 1941 and June 1944.
This No.4 Rifle is in excellent Original deactivated condition, the wood is original to the gun, with a very well done field repair to the top of the butt stock. It cocks and dry fires and can be partially stripped down.
A superb and desirable original WW2 No4 rifle as issue to British and Canadian Troops.
First issued in 1941 the Lee Enfield number 4 rifle was considered the best of the combat bolt action rifles.
Can be redeactivated to EU spec if required.
