A great opportunity to own a piece of WW1 history that 'was there'.

This Lee Enfield 1907 bayonet was found at one of the British jumping off points at the Battle of Passchendaele 1917.
It is in very good condition for a battle field found item. It has been cleaned and preserved with Renascence Wax, the wooden grip is still strong and intact, part of the blade has rusted away, however the remains are in strong order and still possess some sharpness. See pictures for further details.

The Battle of Passchendaele, also known as the third battle of Ypres, was fought between July and November of 1917.
The Battle of Passchendaele is one of the deadliest battles in history. The British Expeditionary Force lost 310,000 soldiers. General Haig was criticised for his persistence in spite of the fatigue of his men. The Germans lost about 260,000 soldiers for a total of more than 570,000 lives in one battle.
