This excellent deactivated USA M1 Carbine with the more desirable Inland Maker Mark (General Motors) and dated April 1944.

It comes with its butt stock Mag Pouch dated 1943, 2x spare Magazines and Oil Bottle and is in fantastic condition.
Deactivated to the latest EU specification, the bolt and cocking lever moves under spring pressure, the trigger moves and the magazine is removable.

The American .30 M1 Carbine was developed as a reduced size semi automatic weapon to have a high firepower in close range. The carbine is shorter and lighter then the M1 Garand rifle, the standard main battle rifle of the US Army in WWII.

It was to be produced in larger quantities than any other US small arms in the second World War. Production began in August 1941 through to August 1945, accounting for over 6 million rifles, produced by 10 main contractors.

All deactivated weapons sold by Vigo Militaria and Collectables are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
