WW2 German Inert 10.5cm Propaganda Shell With Original Leaflets

WW2 German Inert 10.5cm Propaganda Shell and leaflets in very good condition, complete with rare correct fuse, internal steel packing covers, base and the all important original leaflets which tried to encourage the Russians to surrender.

There are six unfolded leaflets and six folded leaflets as they would have been ejected form the shell. They were folded so they could be secreted easier about the soldier, any Russian soldier caught with one of these leaflets would have been executed.

It comes with its correct dated 1941 and Eagle stamped fuse and it fully strips down. See pictures.

These complete Propaganda Shells do not come onto the market very often.

This Inert 10.5cm Propaganda Shell was fired from a LeFH 18 field gun used by the Wehrmacht during World War 2.
The coiled leaflets were held loosely by two steel packing covers inside the projectile's case.
On firing, and hitting the ground the pre set fuse ignited, the charge at the base explodes, driving the base away, the packing covers fire backwards scattering the leaflets.
