WW2 New Zealand Red Ensign Flag - 'The Red Duster'
The New Zealand red ensign, also known as 'the red duster', was adopted in 1903. It's based on the British red ensign that has been flown for centuries by ships registered in the United Kingdom.
It may be flown on land in places or on occasions which are significant to Maori, alongside the name of the iwi, hapu or waka.
This Original WW2 Flag is in very good condition it has a couple of holes commensurate with age and is ink marked '2 YD'.
It measures 70 inches x 33 inches.
A super piece of history.
