Here we have an excellent, solid, single decal Waffen SS M42 helmet with impressive battle-damage.
The helmet was recently found in Latgalia, in the eastern part of Latvia, and belonged to a Latvian volunteer of the 19. Waffen-Grenadier-Division der SS (lett. Nr. 2), which was fighting in the area in the Summer of 1944.
The decal has worn, but the SS runes are still recognisable. See pictures
