WW1 British Lee Enfield SMLE Adams Rifle Grenade Cup found at the Somme.

This very scarce WW1 British Lee Enfield SMLE Mills grenade Adam’s cup was found in a barn at The Somme battlefield. It was used to support the Mills Grenade when being launched by the SMLE rifle. 

Although it has some corrosion it is solid and in very good condition especially given that it’s over 100 years old .

It is part of an inert ordnance collection we have just acquired from Ordnance expert and Author John Bailey.
