WW2 German inert Blendkörper 2H Glass Smoke Grenade

Here we have a super, rare, German WW2 Blendkörper smoke grenade.

 The grenade has the shape of an electric light bulb, and is made of transparent glass. It consists of an outer glass bulb and an inner glass tube, and is sealed around the neck of the outer flask by a bakelite top. The outer flask is filled with 270 grams of titanium tetrachloride, and the inner tube has 36 grams of aqueous calcium chloride, which mix when the flask is thrown, and the glass breaks, and which form a dense smoke screen. The clacium chloride is probably added to lower the freezing point of the water, thus making it practical to use the grenade in a cold dry climate.

This grenade fully strips down, is in overall very good condition with no breaks to any of the glass. It is complete with its Bakelite lid with makers marks, it has a small break but still screws on ok.
