WW2 German M40 SS Battle Damaged Helmet from the Nava Front

Here we have a very rare battle-damaged single decal SS M40 helmet found at Padaoru, a small village near Rakvere (Wesenberg).
In this area, there were several Dutch SS units stationed during the fighting at the Narva front in 1944.

It was among a pile of stones in a field, along with other items.
Although battle damaged the shell is very solid and we believe the maker is Quist.

The decal has worn, but this is a genuine WW2 SS helmet. It still has some of its green paint present. See pictures
