WW2 German M42 single decal Helmet

Here we have a super single decal German M42 helmet (Stahlhelm)

It is a very well presented with great original patina. Although barely visible it’s decal has been painted over as per the order in 1943 that all helmets decals must be painted. So it’s had its field paint applied. The liner and chinstrap are also original and in fine condition. See pictures.

It is maker marked ckl 64, so it was manufactured by Eisenhuttenwerk, Thale in mid 1943 in a size 64, the rim is also stamped 2732.
A super piece of history that 'was there' and it would look great in any WW2 collection. 

All in all an excellent opportunity to own an original WW2 German helmet in excellent original condition.
