Here we have a truly fabulous WW2 M1 American Navy Helmet as used by Landing Craft Crews in Normandy and the Pacific theatre of war.
It’s a correct Navy M1 fixed bale helmet as can be seen in the colour films of the Pacific and Normandy theatres of war.
The front seam shell is the correct blue and appears to have been painted a few times it has a few dings and scrapes. The liner is correct, with some wear - See pictures.
