WW2 SAS Jeep bulletproof glass screen. Original with history

Vigo Militaria and Collectables are pleased to offer this fantastic, rare, original SAS bulletproof glass screen as used on the SAS WW2 Jeeps.

This item comes complete with an A4 sheet of paper explaining where and when it was found. See pictures. Some of the information states-

Found in Frankfurt this was originally misidentified as belonging to a German Heinkel, however it became apparent that the glass is from a WW2 SAS Jeep as only the SAS used them.

The screen has heavy battle damage with over 30 bullet strikes. The fate of the occupants of the Jeep are unknown however it is probably from Operation Archway.

This is possibly the only original surviving WW2 SAS bulletproof screen. See pictures for more history of this fantastic piece.
